Q. I want to transfer money to a third party onlinesbi.com?
Solution:
Third party funds transfer in Internet Banking.
Before attempting for transfer of funds, please ensure that you have transaction rights.
Three steps are involved for transfer of funds to third party.
a) If you have not already defined the third party limit
Define Limit
· Please go to profile> define limit (give profile PW and confirm) (You will see 2 boxes demand draft limit and trusted third party) in trusted third party limit box insert amount in round rupees maximum 50,000 .
Define Third Party
· Please go to profile> define third party (give profile PW)
Input data Name , account number (correctness to be ensured beyond doubt- on the basis of this account number only funds will be transferred- if account number is wrong funds will go to some wrong account and S BI will not be liable), input branch code from drop down list only ( location > branch), input transaction limit ( should be less than the user defined limit for third party transfer)
Do transaction
Go to transaction>third party transfer or go to jump to> third party transfer
You will find list of your account in first drop down box. Click the account from which funds are to be transferred to third party. Input amount to be transferred in the next box ( amount to be less than third party limit defined for that particular party to which you are transferring the funds –hyperlink is available to change the third party limit -overall). Select the account of the party to which the amount is being transferred from the drop down (second) box. Input remarks in the next box ( max 20 characters) and confirm.
Not down the message. If it is successful funds are transferred.
Q. My name on welcome page is shown wrong.
Solution:
Login oblinesbi.com>give UID/PW>profile>personal profile >enter profile PW and confirm
Next page will show three boxes 1) your e-mail address 2) your telephone number and 3) friendly name for onlinesbi
Input new data to change any item. Name given in III box will appear in welcome page.
